ABOUT US AND OUR PHILOSOPHY ON PRESCHOOL

Each talent requires each little creative being to be nurtured not only in a group but one on one as well. My assistants aid me in my quest to provide a better learning environment, plenty of love and preparation individual by individual. We will work on manners, respect for one another, caring, compassion and so on - giving these children an aide along with their own natural maturity levels and growth in understanding a bit of human behavior.

"Babies and children are so pure . . .
DayCare and PreSchool should not be a place to endure!"

Discipline is solved with discussion, library time outs, redirecting anger, etc, with a solution.

Communication is important with the child as well as the parents. I try to spend some time with each parent and discuss his or her child's day. Any special highlights or problems will be discussed. I want you to know how your child's day went, to keep you informed. Feel free to ask questions!

Infants and young toddlers (15 months or so) will learn and have the needed stimulation by observing the older children. They will be a part of the older children's activities as well. They will be provided age appropriate activities and can play, roam, climb and venture safely in the baby corral. They will be cuddled, coddled, and allowed to be part of the bigger picture in advance of their ages.

Interaction between all the ages benefits each child. All children get a chance to interact within the learning centers.

By age 4.4 to 4.8, a child is usually emotionally mature and well prepared to enter into a larger all around situation and a much more structured week. These challenges will evolve children being expected to perform on their own and they will be fronted with peer pressure and self expectation that will form from their new environment. These new challenges should be introduced gradually and children will exhibit a seeking attitude for more. Their transition will be a happy one when they are ready and not told that they are! Much of their natural abilities and awareness outside of themselves comes with maturation and will not be forced.
